Once again I can point to you as the exception that proves the rule ...... you two are the first that would admit it, next you'll admit to paying MSRP and being proud of it. :rofl1:

My brother probably paid MSRP, but I paid out $3,000 less than he did, so I didn't :D

A lot of Victory owners would probably disagree with that... met one last week that just picked up a new Victory because the deal was too good to pass up.

.
Sounds like my wife ... don't really need or use it but it was on sale !!

I agree with Honda; it's a waste of money and effort to even try to sell anything to it's miniscule ST customer base. Similar to BMW's airhead ludite customers of the 80's - neglect and abandonment is the only solution that makes any corporate sense.:doh1:
5 years to clear inventory proves that they are not so popular any more. The ST and many of us will be like the dinosaurs, history. By the way Tom, NICE BIKE!!

If you buy one of the last ones and store it in your garage for 25 years it will become one of those rare sought after classics worth millions of clams....

but that would be no fun, and I will be on a Spyder by then.....

DID NOT BELIEVE I COULD FIND A BIKE TO REPLACE MY ST.
WOUND UP GETTING THE VFR1200X. I LIKE IT BETTER - BETTER HANDLING - COOLER RIDING - LESS WIND NOISE AND BUFFETING (MY ST HAD THE FIXED WINDSHIELD). REALLY LIKE THE OFF ROAD ASPECT.

Hmmm... or a firST-year one... my rare Sparkling Silver Metallic ST was manufactured in Oct 1990. Priceless.

Yeah, there's always two ways to look at those "low mileage" barn finds! Cosmetically, they look great... mechanically are usually a nightmare.

And then for the original buyer... did he get his money's worth?

My kids kid me about my new (2015) Highlander that so far only has about 17K on it. I'm trying to make it last many years into my retirement, coming up in five years, so I want it to be paid off before then, but not worn out! Same with my 2012 ST1300 with just under 10K. Paid off, but still plenty of miles left.

In either case, I plan to get my "Money's worth" on both. in the meantime, I'm killing my 2010 on my commute and even one of the 2004s. We'll see.

By the time I'm done, none of mine will be a "barn find"! :D
