depends on your skill level and willingness to dive into the netherworld, just under the plastics. i would consider it a good (full weekend) project. with the information back up from this fourm. take a few minutes and peruse the fourm to get an idea what you're takeing on

It is a bit of a job to install, but oh-so worth it. You'll get to know your bike better in the process.
I mostly used Ray's install procedure. (Thanks Ray)
