Its finally time to change out my front tire. I installed the Storm 2 just before leaving for Moonshine, a bit over 11k miles ago. I ordered a PR2 from the Brothers Wednesday night. I meant to order it a little earlier but got busy and forgot. It didn't arrive today (was hoping, but didn't expect it this quick) so it looks like I'll get another weekend out of my Avon. With tomorrow's ride, it should be over 12k miles before it comes off. Not bad mileage considering I ride it fairly hard and do a lot of local roads with twisty turns and rough roads. It wore evenly until about a week ago, when it just started to scallop a tiny bit. Other than a minor case of the usual Storm shake I have no complaints. I'm just trying a different brand to see what they are like. I've heard good things about the PR2s. My main concern is lifespan, so hopefully they last.
