Bamarider Midwest Tour check in

In the 10+ years I've been camping, rain isn't something you typically have to worry about most of the time and only once - last year in Kansas LOL - have I ever been in winds so high the tent was collapsing a little. The ground was already soft from prior rain so my guy lines didn't hold and I was sitting up holding the poles in place. I was lucky as it was nowhere near as bad as Guy's experience and only lasted maybe 20 mins but it was an adventure. lol

That's what I was trying to do (hold poles with hand) but the wind blowing against the fabric and the pole just flat out broke it. It was why I was asking how to fix it LOL. Pete and I managed to rig it next day, in fact it is better than new. But when the pole broke it popped through the fabric and tore down the sides in the wind.
