BaseCamp update for Windows/PC

Garmin have released an update for the Windows/PC version onf BaseCamp. The new Windows version is 4.7.5

As yet, no update is available for the Mac. The current Mac version is 4.8.13

But if you update Windows Basecamp past 4.6.2 you can't integrate Google Earth.

Thought I'd add - for me it's a case of gaining no functionality in updating the programs past Basecamp 4.6.2 and Google Earth 7.3.1, and in fact losing an important function.

Around 2018 Google decided they needed to be paid by companies that integrated their product. Garmin wouldn't pay so they had to remove the integrated Google Earth geographic view from Basecamp. Have no fear though it's only the programs that can't be updated; the data used by the programs is current. Mapping I use is NT 2024.1 and an older version of Google earth will use the most recent photographic version of the geographic location.

Edited to add: Just for the record I still just Microsoft Streets and Trips. Maps are old but all I want to do is plot a route using "waypoints". My 665 and 660 then do the routing. Their maps are up to date.
