I put a new WPS battery in my 07 ST1300 this fall. Rode it several times afterward, then stored it for the winter on a trickle charger. Three months later, when I tried firing it up, there wasn't enough juice in it to engage the starter. After a couple of attempts, it was dead. I put it back on the charger for a few weeks and the same results. It was a brand new Smart Shot 900 charger with a dealership installed dongle. Any ideas what might have happened? Next step is to pull the battery and have it tested.
