Not sure, but F is what you want. F is OEM. There used to be a U version that many reported far less mileage than the F.

G and E are somebody else's OEM codes. You want the F.

Kinda makes you wonder why they didn't just call it the BT020ST.

The numbers in the yellow bar are the actual part numbers - these are what you want. I would highly recommend you give Tim at TwoBrotherTires a call (770) 963-7374 - I recently got a set for $225 delivered to my door the next day

Thanks all, just ordered a set of 020's "F" from motorcycle superstore, $218delivered. Dealer wanted $256. I have little over 10k on the ones I installed in march of this year and still have couple tousands left in them. Besides a flat spot on the rear tire (not to the wear bar yet) they have been great tires and I'm staying with them. I'll install the new ones in spring before next year riding season starts.

I believe the letters after the sizes are the speed ratings for the required tyres.:policeST:

What's the difference between 020 and 021 on the Bridgestones. The 020 set is 1 dollar cheaper at motorcyclesuperstores.

The 020 is OEM for the ST1300 - I don't think the 021 is "officially" rated for this heavy of a bike.

Also the 020 has stiffer sidewalls:

OEM Battlax BT-020F 170/60ZR-17
(3) Rayon plies in the sidewall
(3) Rayon & (1) Aramid ply in the tread

Battlax BT-021 170/60ZR-17
(2) Nylon plies in the sidewall
(1) Steel, (1) Polyester, (2) Nylon plies in the tread

020's are what honda puts on st1300's. Some folks complain that 021 does not last very long after installing them on their bikes. I think they have softer compound rubber.

Thanks. I had the 021s ready to order and wanted to double check on what the difference was. Glad I did. I'll be ordering the 020s now.

The "Z" is the speed rating... the F designates that the sidewall load ratings were designed for the ST1300
The "F" denotes only that it is Honda's OEM for the ST1300.

The "load ratings" are the 59W (536 lbs.) and 72W (783 lbs.).

Just in case anyone's wondering, the "Z" rating is for 149+ MPH maximum design with a 240+ MPH test speed.
