I was looking at the BT45 rear tire and it seems a bit light in the load range. The BT45 front has a load range of 520I use a rear BT45 on the front of my ST11. I checked my sources and the best I found was Dennis Kirk at $76 for a 110/80-18, which is the same price it's been there for a few years? Have you seen it cheaper?
Another reason maybe to cease the mourning for the BT-45 and move on to the BT-46. It is rated (rear) at 520 lbs., which is the same rating as the OEM fitment.I was looking at the BT45 rear tire and it seems a bit light in the load range. The BT45 front has a load range of 520

Meaning this rear tire is on our front rim. Weight capacity is well within capable range. For those of you that like double darkness,
Not sure of your point as load rating is independent of where it is installed. Regardless, I have followed @paulcb through enough high speed corners to say that if it was going to present a problem on the ST, Paul would have first hand knowledge ot it.As the thread stated in the beginning:
That's one helluva wheelie!... that's 520 lbs on just the that tire at a constant 130mph.
