As I was out doing some backroads today between storms, I came across this -



I actually reset my trip meter and there were 1.2 miles of these flags on the fence line.
I cannot imagine the cost and the time it took but they sure stirred this old Marine's heart!

Nice! I love it. We need to see more patriotism in the US. We have our issues here but I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.

I'm with ya, @Uncle Phil .
Especially if the flags are not worn out and shabby... crisp, clean and bright and new-ish flags still stir my .
Some of us recall the ideals and values our nation cared about until a couple decades ago, so the current decline and carelessness of some we know, truly is hurtful to me.
A neighborhood next to mine has a nice display, that I still plan to video as I ride through.

They do this at Camp Butler Memorial Cemetary. Every Memorial day Where I live. Never forget.

1.2 miles = 6336 feet.
if there is 8 feet between posts that = 792 flags!

I think it is closer to 5-6 feet between the posts.
I figured close to 1,000+ flags.
