Save your pennies, riders. This fall my buddies twisted my arm hard enough to convince me to join them on a great adventure. We hopped on a plane to Barcelona, Spain. We rode the Pyrenees mountains to San Sebastian and back. The route covered a lot of the border roads between Spain and France used by the Tour de France bicycle race. The best description I can come up with is that it was like riding the Tail of the Dragon, back to back, a dozen times per day, for eleven days in a row. We did a self guided tour rather than join a guided tour, with the tour company, IMT, fixing us up with bikes, hotels, and gps routes. Pretty awesome.
