Bike master heated grips

Ok ... Well my brother ..had an issue with my right oem heated grip on my st1300. He had to cut it off ...man was I pissed off ..now I'm faced with replacement. oem not available the closest I could find is a bike master set ....now the question is .can I wire them to my oem controller and if so how ...? Any help would be great

I think you'll need to do a forum search. If I remember correctly, the Honda grips are wired very differently from aftermarket grip heaters. The implication is that the Honda heat controler probably won't work with the aftermarket heated grips. But, I'm not an expert on this.

Probably.

I don't know anything about the bike master set heated grips that you mention, but I know that the Dual Star heated grip elements can be made to work with the OEM controller.

Oh, and those nice ribbed BMW grips would be a good choice to go over the heated elements.

I came on here looking to find a wiring diagram for what I assumed was a honda grip heater. And here it is!
Very cool.
Unfortunately mine is all chopped up by a crap installation.
