JuST received my BLM Dash Shelf and want to avoid repeating some of my miSTakes faced with the "Buck" Dash Shelf. I never dreamed the Buck shelf would ever make contact with the STock windscreen. Well, to my misfortune, it not only scratched the inside of the windscreen it also prevented the windscreen from being completely lowered.

Before beginning the "fit-ment" process with the BLM I'm hoping to take advice from ST1300 owners of the BLM Dash Shelf:

1. At any point of travel, will the BLM come into contact with the windscreen?

2. Can the windscreen be completely lowered after inSTallation of the BLM?

3. If the windscreen is unable to completely lower, do you know of any "fix"?

Thanks!

Want to note ordering the BLM was very easy, Joe is responsive and helpful and I received the Dash Shelf very promptly. Thanks "BLM".

I've had the BLM dash shelf on my '04 for a couple years now. It was installed by my dealer. I'm not aware of any installation problems.

I initially had a stock windshield. No interference. I've installed a Clearview short with GW style vent installed. Once again, no interference all the way up to all the way down.
