My 2007 uses part number #45215-MAJ-G41, for the brake caliper pin, and #45150-MCS-G01/G02 for the caliper body.
I thought I'd "upgrade" the pins from a 2009 model year because they don't have the allen head, but rather a really nice 8mm bolt head.
They arrived today. Part number #45215-MBT-D51.
The 2009 caliper calls for part number 45150-MCS-R01.
Here's my question...the new pins are approx 1/32 of an inch longer, no biggie.
They fit all the way through and are flush on the outside of the caliper body, just like the OEM pins. However, the 07 pins have a "step" if you will, thats approx 1/2 inch long on the end by the o-ring. The 09 pins have the same step, but its only approx 1/4 inch long. Will this make any difference?
The 07 & the 09 use the same caliper part number, except for the last (3) digits.
The 07 is G01, the 09 is R01.
Anybody know what these last three part numbers mean.
Thanks for any comments.
