Hi Folks
Well I was out today at the local B&Q only about 5 miles from home, parked up and went about my business( picking wallpaper samples for the other half......yes I know..rock and roll!!!!.)
So back out to the bike key in and very slow crank then nothing, ignition lights on but no juice to start, bugger!, managed to bump start in 2nd gear on 2nd attempt, this is when I realised how bloody heavy a bike the ST is...........
Got home and left running I checked if the bike was charging which it was at 14.7v, put lights and grip heaters on and off to check for drop etc.., switched off checked battery it was at 12.6v so all seemed ok, im going to leave it overnight and check again, im confident its nothing on the bike itself and at worst it will be a replacement battery, probably go with a motobat yellow as an upgrade.
Im going to the 55th Dragon Rally 13/14 feb so want all systems to be ok.
Cheers
Chris
