So, I just replaced every bearings on my 2010 1300.
it’s a slightly early 50k overhaul. Plus new brake pads and fluid. (Shout out to @aniwack for help with that final bit of air in the line. No one on YouTube that I saw says the bottom front bleeders are controlled by the rear brake pedal)
Drove 50 miles to San Jose for a new front tire and thought WOW. I’m falling in love again!!
Then after I paid $117.00 for a balanced and installed Bridgestone H50, (tires are A LOT less expensive here) I knew I wasn’t going straight home.
After tacking on an extra 150 miles, I pulled into my farm happy as can be.
Mileage rose by 10%, and I experienced the smoothest ride ever. I am so happy with the ride, I’m a believer now in the rewards of constant maintenance.
I believe if a cyclone wasn’t blowing in today I’d be dropping a 400-500 mile ride.
I look forward to testing the peg scrapping abilities of my new tire soon.
