I got about 8500 on a rear and 12000 on my front 023. Since I went to a CT on the rear i just put on another 023 front. That's about the best I ever got on any MC tire, Michelin or Bridgestone!

My first 023 rear tire lasted 5000 miles and the second rear 023 taking it easy trying to get more miles out of it lasted 7500 miles. I did get over 11000 on the 023 front tire.

just wondering...

do you guys have tar and chip there?, our DOT uses it to prolong life of roads.

hot tar, then crushed gravel. very abrasive to tires.

I am a fairly passive rider on a 1100. I have just over 11,000 on a set of BT023s and am just getting to the wear bars. Comparable tire life to the PR2s for me.

Hmm, I'm the odd duck out then, I got 2,346 miles out of a rear BT023 on one of my ST1100 ABSIIs past the wear bars. Yes, inflation was proper, suspension was good shape, and Bridgestone has that set in their hands to review at their leisure. ;-)

I got 11K out of my 023s; the rear cord had just started to show when I got home from a trip (wasn't showing 200 miles before when I had last checked.) The front still had tread, but was badly cupped, despite having been properly inflated (the cupping really got noticeable right at the end.) They were great tires, but I thought I'd try the Michelin PR2s for the next set. Both handled well, although the PR2s seem to turn in quicker, and the 023s seemed to have a little more straight line stability.
