A very simple bike lift, might even work for the ST.

Those are better described as 'motorcycle lift planks' and not lift tables. If the ST starts to get away from you on said plank, you will not be able to save it. Inchng the bike up onto a table (with outriggers) enables you to use your legs for balance, and even put down the side stand. A wider footprint also increases stability.

Perhaps these work for the @Larry Fine and @Upt' North's of this world, but not us short guys.
