Thanks for the chuckle Joe! Y'all don't know how good it feels to be back on motorized 2 wheels!!! That 14 month period was the longest time I have been without a motorcycle since '64!!!

I was a bit later than normal. I left my place around 8:05 this morning. I'm usually on the freeway by 6:20....;)

Did you hit any rain?
 
There was evidence of some on the South Grade and the wet road had me a bit more cautious than if it were dry, but nothing on my windshield.

sorry a little slow. this is in response to post 103 which is just off my daily commute...... so I ran PCH, Yerba Buena, Mulholland Hwy, Topanga this morning which took an extra hour to get to work, but the views were awesome...... and Zero traffic! Yerba Buena was a little rough and slow but I did not mind......

You need to go back a page, John moved the tag from Santa Susanna to the Lookout on Ortega Highway and I moved it from there to the East Grade of Mt Palomar.
 
I was headed S. on I-15 after riding the Ortega Hwy when I saw a sign that said Palomar Mt next exit, and immediately decided to go get the tag - BAD idea, it's Sunday, there's still snow up there, warnings the chains were required and traffic was bad and finding a place to park a bike was impossible. The only way to get a pic of the bike and the sign was stop in the middle of the road. I guess I'll have to try again - on a weekday - when the snow has melted:(

Wow, sorry for your troubles John, I wouldn't try Palomar on a weekend in good weather!

HOLY COW!! - MAC IS BACK IN TOWN AND HE IS OOZIN' RED!!


It has been you and me moving the SoCal tag for a while so I guess I'll be going for a ride tomorrow!

Hope to see you soon, maybe Mecca Beach RTC just a few weeks away.
