My poor old ST1100 got slide again. It damaged the right side mirror, luggage, and bend the upper fairing frame. Lesson learned for this time: always check the tire pressure before riding.
Just want to share the restore experience.
Upper fairing frame was hit so hard, it completely shifted to left side. This could be bend back by placing car jack against to the suspension bar and jack it back. Easy job, 5 mins to get it straight again, see below photos.
Luggage and fairing plastic broken can be welded back by the plastic weld kits.
For the smashed mirror, I could not find a used right side mirror at market, so just bought a pair of new Kawasaki zx14 mirrors, $26 from Amazon. This one has led turn signal. Just need a little modification, it fit in nicely. Looks ugly, but will be using it like this until I find a used right side mirror.
Now the bike is back, total spent is $26 and lots of work to take the fairing off and put it on. Luckily, I did not get much hurt.
