I purchased a cheap ($80) from Amazon got delivered today (a week early! )
Not a Givi, but not $400 either
Heavy duty plastic is thicker than I expected. Grey lenses aren't reflective, but will be easy to put brake and turn lights in. One down side is a screw on attachment method, has a big tab on front and a screw inside (with hand knob) to attach it to the plate. Thanks to inflation, just couldn't swing price of the Givi right now, and I had $75 credit with Amazon, so grabbed this for now. When I got the ST it had a Givi plate on it, so I will eventually get a Givi. Overall I feel it's not a bad deal at all20220625_125125.jpg20220625_125039.jpg

I bought a similar cheapie top case ( Bestem brand) 11 years ago, and it is still working well. I have bases for it on both bikes, and transfer it often. I suspect that a lot of the Chinesium cases are all made in the same factory.
The Bestem has 50k+ miles on it now, and works great.

Kathy and I went for a ride today (before it went over 100°) and she really likes the top case, has a decent back rest on it, and it's at a good height for her. It's stable and gives her good support. So I have to say, it's definitely worth the money, now how will it hold up?

Lounging pillions...
Not my thing, messing up the handling, risk of her dropping into my back during braking...
