I'd opt for some type 2 Dual Colour Switchback LEDs, but they don't come in "dual power", meaning the white side is a bit too bright (not like the 5W side of a standard 1157 incandescent bulb...)1157, for the US (not sure if same applies in UK spec bikes) DRL/Indicator.

like with the tail/brake-light the t/signal needs to be 4 times brighter then the position light...
Hence the Type 2 Dual Colour Switchbacks, hence the question if the white site could be dimmed...
