A bit on the long side, but easily "doable"..
Start early, enjoy a meal in Walden,
Look for the sheep on Mt. Evans,
Enjoy Bear Creek canyon..

Thats a great ride Putt, thats almost the exact route, we took earlier this year when the snow melted. Mt Evans is closed for the year IIRC but the rest should be clear. Poudre Canyon is one of my favorites, you gotta watch the gravel but its a nice ride.

If I am going to be in the Denver area for at least a full day, I try and make that loop.. You are absolutely correct, Poudre is a very nice ride..

Heee... Actually, am just familiarizing myself with routing on Mapquest.
That and trying to generate a little activity in this forum...
