Just by hand is how I have always done it. The mirror moves much like an old cars. Mine are pretty stiff and do require a bit of pushing though.

It is easier to pop of the mirror cover (be careful and make sure the safety strap is in place) in my experience.
Then you sort of move it around (it rotates in the mirror arm) to get it where you want it do be.
I have also added adjustable spot mirrors in the inside corners so I do not have any blind spots at all.

If you have wind deflectors fitted you may find the bolts mounting them foul the mirror making adjustment difficult.

Don't ask how I know.....:oops:....:rolleyes:
