Anyone have advice on how to clean my ST’s old dirty exhaust pipes, especially the lower foreword parts that are tarnished and have road grime all over them.

"Bar Keeper's Friend " - "Cleanser" , was recommended on ST Owner's here , not long ago . I would rub on it , the length-wise direction for the best appearance later .

I have not tried using Bar Keeper's Friend, although I expect it would work well because it is a very fine polish.
In the past, I have removed the pipes from the motorcycle and then polished them using a rotary polisher with a foam pad and Meguire's swirl mark remover, which is also a very fine polish.

I removed & cleaned my pipes a few days ago while I have the wheels removed.
Bar Keepers Friend worked well!
I did have to apply a bit of elbow grease, but I’m impressed!
