F9 - Burgman

Darn, I wanted to be the first to mention it!

Quite interesting and absolutely entertaining at the same time. It had me thinking of taking one for a test ride...

great video as always)

Have been riding Burgman 650 for three seasons. Very nice bike - comfortable for commuting to the office, excellent wind and rain protection, huge underseat compartment space. Downsides for me were - low mileage on one gas tank and short suspension , so I decided to to find something more touring bike. Thats how I came to ride ST1100)

Saw that video a few days ago. Posted on 2 other, no, 3 other forums I frequent. Interesting that he chose the older model to review.
Mine is not the Executive model name but has all the features of the prior version Executive models. No Executive models in 2013 to 2015, then ONLY Executive models 2016 to 2018 with heated grips and seat being the only difference.
I had an older version Burgman 650 and thought I needed something bigger so bought a ST1100. Then realized that gave me less mpg than the Burgman and wasn't quite as comfortable for me. Then my CTX1300 vastly improved the comfort but not so much the mpg. I returned to the newer version Burgman 650 and regularly get 58-61 or sometimes more mpg... about 10 mpg better than either the ST1100 or CTX. The only thing I miss about the ST is a little more than 80 miles farther range. But 180-200 miles is enough to stop for gas and a drink of water.

It's still a great ride and really doesn't give up anything IMO, other than a bit of range, compared with any other bike I've had... including the Gold Wing and those other 2.

Thanks. I didn't want to be too obvious about any shameless plug.
There was at least one member of the Burgman forum who decided they want to update to my model after watching this video and put in a bid on my eBay auction for it.
