Well my trip has been completed as of 11:30am and 459.2 miles later. I set out from Loganville Georiga on 9/12/2022 and cut up to I-85 through Lawrenceville and Buford. Rode to South Carolina Welcome Center just across the border on I-85 stopped to rest and walk around saw a display for Palmetto Distillery South Carolinas first legal moonshine distillery. Made a detour to Palmetto Distillery and took a tour and bought some Product to sample when back home. Hit the road again made it to Greenville South Carolina Twin Peaks on Woodruff Road for lunch. After lunch went next door to Palmetto state armory just to browse the goodies. Back on the road stop between Greenville and Columbia South Carolina at one of the rest stops on I-26 for a rest/bathroom/drink break. Hit the road stopped at the Quiktrip in Lexington SC off I20 to fill up then off on the road again to Thompson GA and crash and burn at grandma's for the night. Woke up hit Der Waffle Haus for breakfast then off to home to park after a grand total for 459 miles. Head is clear no stress from work remains now back to adulting and to prepare for work tomorrow while catching up on laundry. Photos attached of interior of Palmetto Distillery.
