Flashing ABS when I turn the bike off

I have a 2001 and the ABS light comes on at start up and goes off. After riding and hitting the kill switch the ABS light constantly blinks. No start or stop just blinks. Is this normal or am I missing something?

I'll take a WAG and say the battery is getting low, the ABSII does weird stuff with a weak battery.
Check the Battery voltage after sitting off for an hour, 12.6 Perfect battery 11.? Bad Battery

That makes sense. Bike Sat for a couple weeks since last time I rode. I will have to check it. I did a few stops after the blinking and it never flashed again so maybe it charged the battery up enough. Battery was brand new last summer but I'll check it out

A weak battery will make the ABS system do all sorts of weird stuff - including throwing false error codes.
