MotorcyleLarry.com lists an items they call a 'Fork Brace' that is said to reduce wobble, improve the life of tires, and generally make the bike handle better. It lists for $89.95. Is anyone out there using this item or something similar to it, and if so, does it make any difference?

Thanks!

I have one on my ST1100 standard and it helps.
The ST1100 ABS and ST1300s don't seem to benefit from them as they have larger forks.

I put one on my 1500 Goldwing and it helped. I have often wondered if it would help the ST1300.

Opinions vary all over. IMHO, you are better off spending your money on upgraded suspension, & fork springs, gold valves and you'll find many of those perceived problems fixed.. you may even think you have a new bike. Costs more though.

There is a subtle change with the brace. There is a major change with the Sonic Springs. Do springs first!

When I bought my slightly used '06 a few years ago it already had MCL's fork brace on it. So, I don't really know what it's like without it but I can tell ya that the bike is rock solid up to 379.43 MPH, tires last 500k miles, and I rode a stoppie across the 35th largest state with nary a twitch. If I had to choose between Wheaties and the fork brace the brace would win - hands down. :D
