I like a thread like this…makes me feel like over maintenance is a bad thing (waste of resources) and completely unnecessary. I recently changed the fluid in the 2000 ST forks with the steering head bearings- really not all that dirty and no ‘glitter’ in there from worn bushings- refilled it and reassembled. The old fluid only had ~ 30K miles on it- I likely won’t change it again as it’s less likely with time I’ll put that very high mileage on it like many here (I need to ride more). That bike only has 47K miles on it (the 94 has near 51K and the SWing has only ~ 9600).

Using the service manual specifications and procedures Filled up with 650cc, then used the motion pro fork oil gauge to set the height.
