Getting things ready for steering head bearing replacement. Going to do the fork seals & replace the springs while I have the forks off.

Great tip on using the coat hangers to hold the brakes!

I have done the headlight ground mod, ran it to both lights.

Going to replace the bushings while I have the forks apart.

No real problems getting the forks off or apart, just buggerd one of the bottom bolts. Note to others, Don't use a hex socket driver with the ball end on it. After I ground the ball end off, and hammerd it into the bolt, it came out with my big air impact gun.

The tool kit came today and I have made some progress & getting ready to put it back together.

I used a piece of sch. 80 pvc to support the tree while I knocked the lower race off, this worked really well.

Steering bearings are replaced & the forks are done and back on, I'm ready to ride!

Looks like we may have snow somewhere between tonight and tomorrow... but the weekend looks promising! Now just waiting on my parts to come in and to get a few bits back from the powdercoater. Can't wait!

Chris, if you start another thread with some of the first pictures you have of yours. I'll add what I have so far, and add to it as we go.
