good price on windscreen adjuster

I had to replace my windscreen adjuster and found it at www.actionhondaparts.com for $280. From what I could find this was a great price. They basicly have 30% off OEM parts.

When replacing the assembly I noticed the holes in my cee baily windscreen didnt align with the brackets without pulling them apart about 1 to 2 inches. could someone measure the distance between the holes so I see if the cee baily is off.

Across looks like just about 12".

It actually varies depending on shield position. The tracks seem to get further apart as the windshield is raised. Try mounting the shield with the adjustment all the way down.

Yep, 12 inches looks like it. The guy I bought my '05 from had a Cee Baily's on it (swapped it back and fourth with the stock shield when I bought it) and everything lined up great. Good luck.....

Just measured my stock shield which is sitting on the workbench due to the ST being in many pieces for a huge list of farkles.

All the holes are exactly 11 3/4" apart center to center.
