I am on my second ST and loving it! My wife too wouldn't swap it for any other bike, with the exception of new Goldwing perhaps.
Just came back from a 2 week tour of northern Italy and frankly could go on another tomorrow.
Am slightly perturbed by unusual wrist ache, which I haven't suffered from on my first Pan. Current bike came with BikeQuip raisers and I feel this is the cause. Need to try to revert to original bar height to see if it gets better.
