My VSO is complaining of the heat coming off the Delkavics when it is warm out and she
might not ride with me in the summer months :think1: Any thoughts so i can keep her happy. Thanks. Peter.

Preemptive complaining... hmmm bring her back left overs from the RTE? LOL.

Does she think these are warmer than the stockers with the cats?

She has mentioned the pipes are warmer than stock. Skeeters BBQ keeps her happy that might be a trade off.Thanks.

My wife complained about the heat when we got an ST1300. I got a pair of foot peg extenders from Motorcycle Larry and she says they helped a lot. He feet are now lower and a bit forward. We hag a Gold Wing for 7 years before this bike and she really isn't adjusting to the transition very well.

Does anyone know if the Honda mirror and fairing deflectors will take some of the air off her?

It shouldn't be too hard to fashion some sort of heat shield for under the pegs. Maybe mount it using the footpeg bolts. Or better yet the bolts that hold the rubbers on the footpeg. Then they will still fold up.
