Symtecs should work just fine.

Which Symtec kit have you guys used? And does the heater grid go inside the bars as shown for the HD install video?

Ok after looking at a couple of video it looks like it's the external grid heaters. The bar end weight anchors would seem to rule out internal heaters.
Anyone use the Quad Zone controller? I'm thinking of going cheap with the Hi/Lo switch.
Anyone install these over a G2 throttle tube? Shrink wrap for the right side to I guess.

+1 I have BMW grips with Symtec membrane heaters underneath on my ST1300 for 11 years, and Symtecs with ProGrips on my KLR for two years. I could not be happier.
You want these, and have a choice of toggle or rocker switch.
