Ok finally got to a good computer....
Took a couple pics of both bikes together. Rode the 06 back to Bothell so I can go through her and make sure all is well. Have found a couple of missing items that have been gone since bike was new. Notice in pic that the front yellow reflectors on the forks are not there...never were.

Just had to share...

Almost a year with "Darth" and I had to replace the left headlight bulb. Many thanks to those who were kind enough to document the process before me. Tried on my own.....read service manual..... Could reach the plug.....couldn't figure it out.

Thanks again to those before me......saved fairing removal and took less than 30 minutes.......after I read up on it here!

After reading this thread I can truly say that I AM JEALOUS!! Maybe if I just bring home a third one and ask for forgiveness?????? Easy than asking for permission????? It has worked once before! HHHmmmmmmm?

Over 12,000 miles and two new rear tires since buying Darth last April. Love this bike! Taking it to WeSToc tomorrow am. Woo Hoo! Another few thousand miles and smiles!

No license plate?? That's stealth!
It's painted with the new invisa-shield , only visible when viewed from the eyes of non-authourative types.....:).

Had the lower bracket off for tire install.

Can't believe it has been 4 years...
Thanks to Igofar last week, he made this bike like new. Couldn't believe all the things he found. Some were my fault, but many were from prior owner and the dealer. Wrong brake pads was one. Wearing uneven and the too thick pads caused the Pistons to seize. And Larry found a stone the size of a small pea balanced on one of the throttle butter fly flaps on the intake. Could have dropped into the cylinder and ruined the engine....!?!!!?
So glad he had the chance to find it.
