Thanks

He needs to get out from underneath that No-Mar (should rename it to No-More-Ride), and ride. :crackup
You know what they say... those that ride, ride.. those that don't, clean their bike and change tires.

My BIKE,,, has made 50,000 miles!!!

But,,, wait,,, don't start the Bubble Machine just yet...:

I still have to get about 5,000 miles ridden on it so I,,, have rode it 50,000 miles as it was used when I bought it 2 years ago this November...

But,,, I am happy with 25,000 miles a year average on it so far...

Congrats on the 50K! You've now managed to make a $14,000 motorcycle into a $8,000 motorcycle! :D

Yay! I turned over 50k this year too, but I didn't put all of them on as I bought mine used. Hey, your tank is full, maybe you should do something about that.

True, but let's see; I've kept a $45K+ GMC Duramax truck, still closer to max resale value (04.5' with only 45Kmiles), I've cut my fuel bill commuting by at least 1/3, and I can take HOV commuting to/from work. I think I'll more than make up that $6K loss. Not to mention being to retain what sanity I have left. There is some method to my madness.

Congrats, Greg. 50K is hard to get on any one bike. (I've only done it on 4 of about 40.)

This sounds like something a Harley rider would say...only the prices would be doubled or tripled. ;)

I hit 50K this year too on my '07 which was new in June '07. I also installed a Yellow Box (speedohealer) with about 3K miles on the bike. So I guess I'm 7.1% low on actual miles. I had the speed sensor disconnected for a short while too while trying to figure out how to hook up the yellow box. (Oh btw, don't buy the yellow box since it doesn't come with a cable to hook it up.) So I guess I was helping that resale value. ;)
