Saw my first K1600GTL in the wild yesterday.

I'm sure they are a marvelous piece of work, but either the thing was being piloted by a midget, or they are just huge. Particularly the front fairing -- looks straight out of Buck Rogers. The vid clip doesn't begin to do it justice -- or maybe there is a separate line item on the option sheet for "Fairing, BR."

Since I'm not about to dump $29Large on new scoot, it's not my problem, but pity the guy in a cross wind. That thing will have a mind of its own.

I haven't ridden one, so I will try not to judge, but I drove along side one the other day and the shifting was very clunky and loud. Good looking bike, though.

I saw one in San Antonio just before Christmas, the bike looks huge. I can't believe how little it weighs considering how large it looks.

They aren't all that big but then I am used to the K1200LT. I have sat on one but the dealer did not have a demo to ride yet. I wouldn't pay their price even if there was a dealer close by.
