Yes. There is a button next to the throttle that selects N. These last few posts described idling whilst in gear.

I’ve heard about this “drag” before about the Africa Twin DCT but the NC700/750 has no such drag when idling in gear. Did you ever do a clutch initialization on it to see if the drag was eliminated?

Honda indicates to do a clutch initialization only when the DCT computer module and/or clutch assembly is replaced or when the optional toe shift lever is added or removed. That’s it, it’s not supposed to be a regular adjustment. However owners have learned that doing the procedure may quieten or smooth shifting out in their estimation. It’s a bit contentious at times as some folks think it’s placebo effect and others do it regularly as changing the oil. In the case of a friend of mine with an Africa Twin under warranty that had a bit of clutch drag or creep in gear at idle a service tech performed an initialization and the problem was resolved.

I was watching some YouTube videos yesterday on 2 bikes, the Kwai W800 and the Rebel 1100T DCT. I learned that the W800 buzzes in the foot pegs and handlebars at about 3500 rpm (reported by three guys).
Not necessarily a deal breaker but something I will definitely look for during a test ride,

The W 800 is a 360 degree P twin, vibes/buzzing is inherent in that motor design but it does have a balancer in the motor to counter act that somewhat I believe. The 1100 Rebel is a 270 degree P twin and doesn't vibe/buzz but it produces a throb that sort of feels like a V Twin loping.

Do you (or someone) have a photo of the NC750 with side cases ?
My search at dealerships is very frustrating this time around; little inventory and so far most are saying they don't do "test ride's"
None around me have a 2023 Aero/Shadow to even look at, some have Rebel 1100's but none set up so that my wife can sit on, to check out the peg height.
Other brands I'm interested, same story, none on the floor to even look at. As someone coined here: mostly "insect looking" bikes in showrooms.

Yes, if you enlarge the photo you can see Honda embossed in the lid.

But besides Honda Shad and Givi both make side cases and trunks for the NC 750

But again you said it must be good for two up, and imo it's not unless you are both small and skinny. Plus the passenger seat is less than ideal for a passenger. My wife said " that's not a seat" and refuses to get on it.

The Honda luggage is expensive and doesn't allow mixing and matching brands of top boxes, racks, and side cases. While it's convenient to buy the Honda stuff I believe most owners go with aftermarket Givi or Shad equipment.

I have had 700s with both Honda and Givi equipment and if I was building another NC I would pass on the Honda accessory luggage and outfit with Givi on SW Motech racks.

I have 220K miles on my ST, and love it, but my wife and I bought Rebel 1100s, and they are a great light bike. We put on risers, foot control extenders, windshields, and are waiting on hard bags and customized seats. We expect them to be up to the long rides we've done in the past. And they're a lot of fun to ride on the trips we've taken in western NC and VA. We have the DCT models, and yes, they have neutral, so they're as easy to maneuver in my garage as the other three bikes we fit in there (no cars).

I put a passenger seat and pegs on mine, but don't expect to carry a passenger. I'll put a sissy bar on, and carry a sissy bar bag for extra luggage on the long trips.

I've grown pretty fond of the NT. A little slow, but adequately powered, and great deals to be had. This one has racetech forks, an RDL, helibars, and folding highway pegs. Although it's not that much lighter than the ST, it feels it in the garage.

750cc, 540lbs, DCT, panniers, and it's a Honda. What's not to like?
