I am looking for a fellow STOC'er that has the bluetooth module for their MC Cruise Cruise control.
The sole issue I have with my unit is the color of the LED on the control unit when the cruise control is engaged. It's supposed to glow red when powered on and change to yellow/amber when the cruise is engaged. Unfortunately the amber mode is nearly indistinguishable from the red power on mode.
I asked Tony Guymer, director of MC Cruise about this and he said:
I was hoping a kind soul might either loan me their bluetooth module long enough for me to update my firmware per Tony's message... or, let me send you my control unit and have you do it for me. I don't know for sure, but I think the terminals for the BT module get inserted into currently empty positions in its multipin connector and I would understand that you wouldn't want to extract those terminals for my sake.
I'd just like to fix the color of the LED.
Thanks!

"Also if you have a Bluetooth module you could download the new pulse width modulation firmware version which addresses the issue the Chinese manufacturers of our switch delivered with too bright a RED LED! The samples were perfect, but the production run has resistors or LEDs that are different and we agree it is hard to see Amber!"
