Lower fairing rub marks

Hi Folks.

I have a rub mark on my St1300 lower fairing where someone's boot has rubbed through the paint forward of the foot pegs. Having seen this on various ST1300's has anyone come up with a cunning way of concealing it or a tidy way of making it good? My thoughts are a sticker, Honda or otherwise?!

Thanks

Dave

For what it's worth, my bike's PO was 6'3" and he had an aftermarket pair of highway pegs on the tip over bars. His pant leg had worn thru the black paint to the white primer(?) on both sides. I bought this 2010 in '13 and ordered a set of wind deflectors. That covered the wear marks. (Those wind deflector sets are no longer available except used.)

I think you meant your boot wore thru the paint on the frame, in which case @paulcb's post covers this problem.

Sorry chaps, it’s about 4” below the removable cylinder head cut outs. Probably a case of a decent sticker or some film.

On the fairing paintwork, not the frame!
