lower gas tank leak on ST1300

I replaced the fuel filter and pump on my 07 ST and put it back together with a new gasket. I can't get it to seal up. As soon as the bike gets to three bars of fuel she leaks. Not seeping, leaking! I've checked to make sure I didn't pinch any wires or anything in the gasket when buttoning up. Any ideas?

I kinda had that problem when I replaced my fuel pump so just used the original gasket and it sealed and worked. Would rather have a new one but maybe the bolts need to be torqued more, not sure. Anyway my old gasket was in good shape so that was my solution/short cut.

Maybe leave the gasket in the sun prior to installation?

Bob, are you SURE it's not the hose going from the big tank to the lower tank?

Not the big hose I took it apart and put it back together again and now no leak! Must have kinked the gasket somehow. All is good now, and am back on track for Butt Lite.
