Lowest ST1100 seat? want to be flat footed

You have a special spanner in your tool kit to turn and adjust it.

Now... that adjustment is not to adjust the height of the bike seat.
It is to adjust what is called the spring rate, or, simply put, to set your suspension stiffer or softer.

But... if you set it so, that the spring is less compressed (or more extended) your suspension starting point will be softer, and then, it will make the seat go lower as you sit on your bike.
At the opposite, with a stiffer suspension adjustement, (a more compressed spring) as you sit on your bike, it shouldn't go as much low, as you have maximum spring resistence.
