I did a search to try to figure out what these are, but all in getting is that they are out of business. One did say that they are for blind spots. Are they convex mirrors?

The outer 1/3 is ground convex to help cover the blind spot. Does a fair job and you still retain the normal rear view. As I recall they stopped production when the special grinder broke down. Too expensive to fix.

Yes they did go out of business and yes the mirrors are convex. They completely cover the original mirrors (adhere to the top surface).

I have these on my 1100s- they greatly improve the rear visibility and make the blind spots minimal. I bought them many years ago.
