Today I solved my Alt problem. Could not pass it up 8800 miles alot better than 119,000. Was able to sell my camper to a neighbor the rest is history as they say

Very good looking ride!
What did you have 119k on?

In any case: Congratulations!
Mark

That is correct, and that was my first thought. My wife told me to take the money from the camper an buy me a new motorcycle. she said it was my turn to get something nice. I have not had a new or even close to new truck or motorcycle since we have been married. I have always put my wife and daughter first. So when she "TOLD" me to get something. Who am I to argue!

Well, good for you...

I GET that. I never had a wife tell me to get a MC. In fact, I had one trade my '64 Thunderbird on a Grand Piano. I think the bird sounded better....

That bike looks familiar, did you get it in Greensboro by chance?

Great bike, be sure to let us know your impressions.

cool... Always great to get a new bike. Let us know how you like it once you've put some miles on it.

That's the coolest lookin alternator I've ever seen! Looks like you can just swing a leg over it and ride it away.....

First used GS 800 I've seen. What problem did the PO have?

I really like this bike, hope Honda emulates it soon.

nice GS. I was just ooogling over one the other day. I want one as a second bike to keep the RT company. Unfortunately that cost money, and me has none. sweet bike.. Keep us posted on how you like it after some miles.

Rode it to work today 16deg when I left, My wife thought thought I was crazy. I asured her I was'nt I still am. Had to try the heated grips and seat, nice. It is going to take a little bit to get real confy with ABS. I am going to look into a taller wind screen.
