I have a trip coming up where my wife and I will have the grandkids and I want to have my bike when we get there. I have looked at wheel chocks and the assortment available is overwhelming. I have never trailered my 2005 ST1300 and I wanted to make sure that it is very secure and I don't contact the brake discs or front of the chin fairing on the bottom. I plan to use an enclosed 5' X 8' U-Haul so I can keep it out of the weather and locked up while we're away. After the trip, I would like to have the chock for when we work on my son's bike, etc. It's a crotch rocket, so there's no centerstand.
Are there any out there that are known to not have clearance issues and are suitably stout enough for the ST1300?
