I replaced the fork seals myself this past spring. I have been riding the bike and some days I still think it could be smoother, especially at slower speeds. I do not have the "bounding" phenomenon at highway speeds.
The seals were not leaking and the old oil was dark brown. I changed the seals and bushings and the fork oil level was adjusted using the fork oil level gauge with distance specified in the manual.
I'm seriously considering the rear shock as a potential culprit. I re-filled the preload cylinder with new fluid and have played around with it. My current setup is good enough to enjoy riding this winter. This bike is perfect for AZ winters, not so much for AZ summer though.
