Getting a little restless here with winter weather and limited riding opportunities so I got to thinking about our next multi-day trip.
It's probably more than 30 years ago that I last visited the Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio and I'd like to do it again. This time by riding from New Jersey (last time was on a business trip to Cincinnati). I'm thinking about going in April or May, which is still a long ways off, but winter is a time for planning, right?
Using google maps and selecting the "avoid highways" option creates a route of a little over 600 miles. More than I'd like to do in 1 day so I think I'll take 2 days out, 1 day there and then 2 days back. If anyone knows of roads that I should definitely avoid or make it a point to take, I'd love to hear. As they say, getting there is half the fun... or should be.
