Ready to replace my second set of OEM BS BT020. Bike is at 24.7k. Got another 12-13k out of these tire models. Purchased BS BT021. Hope they last as long!

I got 11968 miles on OEM BS 020's.
Installed Dunlops, and got less than 8000 miles.
I now have Bridgestone 021 front and rear. Due to weather, have not been able to ride. I hope I get the same type of mileage on the 021's as I did on the 020's.

Just picked up a set of 020s. Front is an "F" unfortunately, the rear is a "U" model. The price including tax was $201 for the set, so I will accept the mileage shortfall. I will be mounting them at the Turbo City TechSTOc in January. I have 10,400 miles on the original set. Front has some wear left, rear has squared off from too much freeway riding.

I think I am going to try these out (mine came with Dunflops). At $80 dollars a set cheaper than any of the other sets, it hard not to give them a try.

The "F" model is the one you want, not the "U". I hope that back tire held up for you. Marty

10k and 1-2k left, I think. I like the stock! Front will go a ways more. Probably get second set. Ok with me.

I've got 14000 KM on both, pretty much done. Might get a couple of thousand KM more in the cool spring riding. They've worn perfectly, not much squaring or cupping. I have a new set in the garage ready to go on. I've found these tires to be excellent.:D

Got about 14K miles on the front OEM tire. I got a rear flat at 2K miles and replaced it with a Dunlop Roadsmart (it was all they had at the dealership I limped into with the rear flat). Still going with with 14K miles, but I plan to replace it at the 16K mile service with another Roadsmart. I just replaced the OEM front with a Roadsmart as well.

8 months old and I'm at 10,700 and the rear tire is flatlining..... The front is down past the grooves. I've got a set of Avon Storms to put on this week...

I replaced both front and rear at 4.5 years and 7,500 miles (I got the bike new in Aug. 08 with 1,285 miles). Gobs of tread was left on both tires but the front was severely cupping and I was concerned about their age and my plan for lots of highway miles. Replaced with OEM set of Bridgestones.

At 5850 on the odometer (about 6200 actual due to my running a SpeedoHealer) my rear tire is showing the dreaded white stripe. It surprised the heck out of me! I do ride faster than the posted limits and in warm weather with Arkansas sweepers and twisties most of the time. I also downshift (engine braking) while setting up for a curve. I have had a lot of fun with the bike, but I sure wish the mileage was at least 10K!

Any suggestions for a tire that will last longer given the above conditions?

At 6,000 miles my OEM 020 rear is at the wear bars. I usually change tires shortly after the wear bars are showing just to be sure I have enough tire on the bike in case. Tires are cheap insurance.

My last 3 rear tire changes: 9,000; 11,600; 10,839. Averaging the two highest mileage changes the number is 11,220 miles. So, I am going to say I change my tires at 11,220 miles. The 9,000 mile change was done early due to an upcoming longer trip.

Keep in mind I do not run the tire to the wear bars as each of my trips is 1,200 highway miles. I use the 2 mm tread depth specification from the Service Manual as a changing guideline. So, I change my tires between the 2 mm tread depth specification and the wear bars. I am not a fair weather rider and ride in (heavy, moderate, and light) rain 40% of the time.
