My wife and I just ran the first stretch of the peak to peak from Denver Via Golden up the golden gate canyon road to the peak to peak over to Ned. In Ned we stop at the W boulder road and 119 there is a coffee shop there that has good parking.. As I saddled up my wife said she will cross the street and I can pick her up there. Normally I would put the side stand down just in case but I didn't.. Well I pull along the curb about 6-10 inches away from the curb. Melissa attemped to mount the bike from the crub( I guess the added height seemed advantageous). She hooked one leg over the saddle then realized the gap was too much of a stretch and tried pulling her leg back. More of a drag her leg back... Timber.. slowly the bike tipped... I mean ever so slowly. I fought and lost. minor scoffs to the bag..
