My wife had some heated grips under the tree for me. My 1st set in 35 yrs of riding.
I’m reading instructions on positioning and would like to see a pic of grip/cable placement before I start. Thanks.

Lucky you! I installed one of their models. Give me a few minutes and I'll get you some pictures.

I'm assuming you want a preview as to how you might want to aim those cables. I very much like how the left hand turned out. Was a little less thrilled with the right. I couldn't find a way to keep that cable a bit more hidden and still provide full, unrestricted, range of motion. I might try to reroute it someday.

I might have to dry fit throttle side multiple times before finding optimal positioning. Haven’t removed original grips yet so not sure how tight they are to work with.

I did the same. Mine slipped on easily without adhesive. The adhesive they sent with the grips broke loose (both sides) on my trip through the Yukon and Alaska just a few months after install. Maybe I didn't use enough??? I went with hairspray after that. So far, so good...

My wires leave the grip roughly horizontally pointing forward so the cable goes over the brake/clutch lever. I wire tied it much like James T. Kirk. I also used their mount and the clutch lever screws to mount the controller.
